The Ringling Brothers and... Jose Baez?!?

(As previously seen on The Daily Dose)

****Explicit Content... One F-Bomb***

Alas, you knew I would venture to another rant, but this one is more humor and parody than the more emotional, tear jerkers I've blogged about lately. No, I felt the drama and presence of pain all around me and, me being the overly positive person I am, decided the only way to keep from crying is to laugh... until you cry! With that being said, Welcome to the most random, most hilarious, most truthful blog you will find about Jose Baez, circus to the stars!

Meet Jose Baez.
This man has been in so many news related articles, it was hard to pick which one to rant about... So I thought I would share with you some I found more entertaining.

(In my best Sophia Petrillo voice)... Picture it, Florida, 1997. A very proud, faithful, honest man (I could not type that without laughing) receives his diploma from St. Thomas University School of Law. As their mission statement reads, "St. Thomas University is an urban, student-centered, Catholic university with rich cultural and international diversity, dedicated to educating leaders who contribute to the economic and cultural vitality of the regions they serve." Continuing on their website, they state, "St. Thomas University School of Law takes special pride in the diversity of the student body. The School of Law has been recognized as having the most diverse student body among accredited law schools. The cultural diversity, commitment to professionalism and small class size make studying law at St. Thomas University School of Law a unique and enriching experience."  OK... Now, I'm all for diversity. We are a nation of colors, beliefs and practices... But I don't think natural born stupidity, lying, deceitful, pessimistic or chauvinistic falls into the broad category of diversity... In my honest opinion, and you know I have one, this man is the epitome of a true clown and puts the great clowns to shame! I would go out on a limb to say St. Thomas is definately diverse in character! Look at what came out there!

PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!

It's the Baez Juggling Act! For eight solid years, it is unknown how many times Baez attempted to pass the Florida State Bar. In fact, a Sentinel article stated, "the board that screens prospective attorneys in Florida would not let him practice law. The Florida Supreme Court agreed with the decision, issuing an order in 2000 that cataloged unpaid bills, extravagant spending and other "financial irresponsibility" up to that time." The report continues, "His overall behavior, they wrote, showed "a total lack of respect for the rights of others and a total lack of respect for the legal system, which is absolutely inconsistent with the character and fitness qualities required of those seeking to be afforded the highest position of trust and confidence recognized by our system of law." Well, I suppose we can say there is something awful shady hiding behind that juggling act and the Florida Bar knows it... Read the above included link. It's lengthy but shows the relationship and the similar distiction between Jose Baez and a J.A.B. who was reportedly NOT Jose Baez according to a spokeswoman for Baez's office.

LOOK OUT! It's a car FULL 'o Clowns! On September 22, 2005, the state of Florida allowed Baez to practice law. Three years later, his wait paid off. Baez's information had been given to a woman by the name of Casey, who needed assistance in defending herself against the charges of First Degree Premeditated Murder, Second degree murder and a plethora of other charges...  She can be clown #2. She would baste Baez with lies, deceit, and a vindictive pallet that only Baez could hunger for. And feast, he did! Taking the State of Florida as well as citizens from the nation on a crazy road trip, Baez made a mockery of the court system, treated others rudely, but tattled to Judge Belvin Perry as a toddler would over stolen candy when he didn't agree with the law or procedures. But the car isn't full yet! Meet Clowns 3,4, and 5. Cindy, George and Lee. Yes, those of you in attendance during web jury duty became witnesses to the truest form of stupidity. And I can honestly say I feel more dumb now for allowing myself to become completely engrossed by this entire facade. It was never justice that Baez wanted... No, like his client, he wanted the spotlight. Where narcissism is, narcissism follows... Yeah, say that three times real fast! Baez had the spotlight and wanted nothing more than fame. Not justice, not... anything.

AND FOR THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to be amazed... The fucker done it! This beligerant man... this minuscule fiber of flesh managed to persuade a jury of 12 grown people to find this woman not guilty. This feeble excuse for a human being was able to dislodge enough evidence to convince 12 people that a woman who failed to report her child missing for 31 days, lied repeatedly, showed no remorse for the death of her daughter, and then didn't even have the balls to stand up and testify on the stand was innocent... Can we say BRAVO!

No.

We can't. Because there is one little thing that doesn't make any sense. A child is dead. A little girl by the name of Caylee Marie Anthony, who would have turned 6 years old August 9th. Congratulations Baez! You've destroyed what little faith we had in the system and turned it into a sideshow full of your very own fecal matter. You've taken what little bit of faith and humanity the system had and shoved it out the backdoor like yesterday's trash. No, you didn't loose, but like you said, there were no real winners here. But you knew that all along. Win or lose, Casey Anthony will walk free in a matter of days. The justice Caylee deserved will never truly exist because you have demoralized law.

AND FOR THE FINAL ACT! A Talent Agency called Paradigm offered Baez a million dollar position including broadcasting, books, TV and motion picture rights. They stated in a memo, Jim Griffin was the signing agent and they would under no circumstances sign Casey Anthony. Way to go Baez... You truly are a hero! Ah, but don't let that go to your oversized head! Five and half hours later, the offer was withdrawn. When asked for comment, a Paradigm insider stated, “In the end it’s just not who we are.” Ouch... Sucks to be Baez right then, eh?!  They just don't know how talented he is?!

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your support of the show. We all know forgiveness isn't for them. It's for us. Without forgiveness, we can't move forward. Without forgiveness, we can't see the forest for all the trees. And in the words of Ghandi, "The weak can never forgive.  Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."

Stand strong, those seekers of truth and justice. Forgive, and we too, shall be forgiven...  But should you question intelligence in the long arm of the law, I offer my own little tidbit of advice, "we haven't found intelligent life on other planets because we don't really know what we are looking for."

Until tomorrow,
LaVonda
